Banana Jelly Slice

Banana Jelly Slice:


Condensed milk 1 tin
Butter 4 ounces
Crush biscuit 200 gm
Banana jelly 1 packet
Gelatin 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Whipped cream 2 cups
Chopped almonds 2 tbsp
China grass 1 ½ tsp heaped

Crush biscuits mix with melted butter; press the mixture into the base of a rectangular dish, chill for 15 to 20 minutes. Dissolve gelatin in ½ cup water, mix with condensed milk and lemon juice, pour this over biscuit layer and chill until set. Dissolve banana jelly and 1 tsp china grass in 1 cup water, cool, pour over the set condensed milk mixture, chill till set, cut into slices, top with whipped cream, chopped almonds and serve.
