Butterfly Prawn

Recipe of Butterfly Prawn:

Jumbo prawns 300 gm
Bread crumbs 1 cup
Egg 1
Green chilies chopped 3 – 4
Oil ¼ cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder ½ tsp
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Corn flour 2 tbsp
Flour 2 tbsp
Mayonnaise 3 tbsp
Salt top taste

• Wash 300 gm prawns very well, cut from centre and open in book form.
• In a bowl put together prawns, salt to taste, 1 tbsp sesame seeds, ½ tsp black pepper powder, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 beaten egg, 2 tbsp flour, 2 tbsp corn flour, 3 tbsp mayonnaise, 3 – 4 chopped green chilies and 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves. Mix well and keep aside.
• Put 1 cup breads crumbs in a platter, coat marinated prawns in bread crumbs. Press well.
• Heat oil in a frying pan, add prawns and shallow fry till golden brown.
• Remove from pan, dish it out and serve with tomato ketchup.
