Machomo Beef

Recipe Of Machomo Beef:

Beef undercut ½ kg
Bay leaf 1
Potato chopped 1
Onion chopped 2
Green chilies sliced 3
Fresh red chilies chopped 2 – 3
Garlic 4 cloves
Ginger (juliennes) 1 piece
Whole black pepper 1 tsp
Cloves ½ tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Salt to taste

• Cut ½ kg undercut into thin long strips, now boil with 2 cloves of garlic, 1 tsp whole black pepper, ½ tsp cloves, 1 bay leaf and 1 chopped onion. Cover and cook for 15 – 20 minutes till beef is tender.
• Remove beef from pan, shred it well.
• Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok, add 1 chopped onion, chopped ginger, chopped green chilies, chopped garlic and fry till golden brown.
• Now add shredded beef with salt to taste. Fry well till water dries.
• Now make burgers with shredded chicken mixture or roll using pita bread.
• Serve hot.
