Chrissy Teigen’s Banana Bread Complete Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups of mashed ripe bananas
- 4 eggs
- 2⁄3 cup canola oil, plus a little more to grease the pan
- 2 cups all-purpose flour, plus a little more for dusting the pan
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 box vanilla instant pudding mix (3.5 oz)
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- 1½ tbsp kosher salt
- 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1 bar dark chocolate (3.5 oz), need to be chopped into chunks
- Salted butter, for serving
Instructions
Preheat your oven by 330°F.
Add up the mashed bananas, oil, and eggs in a bowl. Take a separate bowl, add the flour, sugar, pudding mix, baking soda, and salt. Combine the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix them well. This came out differently when I aggressively used an electric mixer. Fold in the chocolate chunks &coconut.
Grease and flour a Bundt pan (wipe a little grease all over the inside of the pan, dust it with flour and tip it upside down to shake out any extra flour). Pour the batter into the pan. (This can also make two 8 x 4-inch loaves, but it’s so much moister in one Bundt pan!)
Bake until the cake springs back when lightly pressed and insert a toothpick into the center if it comes out clean, 55mins to 1 hr. (After 50mins test it with a toothpick if it springs backs)
Let it cool down and put it slightly in the pan, then use a butter knife to gently take out the cake from the sides of the pan and around inside of the circle, then flip it onto a platter or plate would ever you would like.
Let it cool, and cut it into slices. Rewarm it for better serving with salted butter!
